And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3
The school relentlessly works hard to reach God’s-given vision to generate God-fearing leaders who are wholly developed, purpose driven and becoming answers to the world. Each student will be a person in the community who is Biblically principled, team player, well balanced, global creative thinker, communicative, and respectful. It is within this frame that the School pursues a high quality education that gives excellent approaches to students’ learning which at the same time are in line or aligned with the vision.
Cambridge education has been around for hundreds of years and has been proved rigorous and prepares students academically well for their future. Students are found competent and skillful due to their in depth classroom activities. They are well-prepared for life as the study helps them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. Our school shapes a Cambridge curriculum around how we want our students to learn, helping them discover new abilities and a wider world. Our students develop the skills they need to achieve at school, university and further at work and life.
English | Bahasa IndonesiaCambridge curriculum is implemented starting Elementary level, gradually moving to Junior and Senior High. The students in Elementary level and Junior High study foundational subjects English, Mathematics, and Science and are going in depth each year. It is accompanied by three other complementary, yet essential skills in Art and Design, Digital Literacy/ICT (Computer) and Global Perspectives. Global Perspectives is an exceptional skill-based subject that breaks the wall of content-based subjects and focuses on learning high research skills. It concentrates more on critical thinking, information skills, independent learning skills, collaboration and communication skills which are the building blocks of important 21st century skills.
By the time a student reaches High School the student can enjoy options of Science stream or Social Stream. Science students can explore deeper in Biology, Chemistry and Physics while Social students can surf further in Sociology, Economics, and Geography. Fundamental curriculum in both Social and Science stream are English, Mathematics, Art & Design, Research and Computer.
Examination is divided into assessment for learning and of learning. The assessment for learning is conducted internally and embedded into classroom learning. On the other hand Cambridge also held end-of-programme assessments which are marked externally. Both assessments are to give students focus, motivation and challenge. The assessment focuses on what is of greatest value to students - deep subject knowledge, conceptual understanding and higher order thinking skills. Different subjects have different mandatory exams at different levels, and some are optional depending on students’ future needs.
