CARES Project
is a community service initiative that involves students, teachers, and Senior High staff working together to support agencies and institutions in need of moral and material assistance. This project, carried out in collaboration with the HAND Project foundation, focuses on teamwork, work preparation, funding, activity design, and student leadership, with teachers providing guidance and supervision.
Purposeful Discovery Project
is a student research project aimed at teaching basic research skills to high school students. Under the guidance of a supervisor, students work in small groups to conduct mini-research on topics of their choice, learning to analyze data and become problem solvers in their chosen areas.
Internship/Special Program
offers 12th-grade students the opportunity to gain real work experience through a Life Skills workshop and hands-on exposure to the world of work. This program, in collaboration with various institutions and companies, provides valuable experience and a certificate to each participant.
Educational Excursion
Educational excursions at the Senior High level are engaging, pertinent, and enjoyable learning experiences, each tailored to specific objectives and environments. The selection of excursion locations is based on the curriculum integration requirements of the students, encompassing sustainable companies, parks/productive areas, professional institutions, and more, both within the Greater Surabaya area and neighboring cities. Following the excursion, students will be tasked with completing various work report projects using a problem-based learning approach.
Student Learning Showcase
The Student Learning Showcase is an annual event held at the conclusion of each school year, designed as an exhibition to inform visitors/parents about the students' learning journey over the academic year. Accompanied by their subject teachers, students will deliver presentations/demonstrations utilizing various media created during their learning activities, engaging visitors at each exhibition booth to highlight relevant and practical competencies for daily life.
Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conference
During the Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conference, students will prepare presentations for their parents, reflecting on their learning progress over a specified period. Students will share self-evaluations of their overall learning experience, focusing on their interests, strengths, and areas for improvement. The goal is to help parents understand their children's educational journey and provide optimal support.
Team
"Team" program offers students the chance to cultivate their abilities in various fields such as Math, Science, English, Art, Basketball, and Futsal, while also getting ready to compete at national and international levels on behalf of the school.
Club
"Club" is a gathering of students with a shared interest, subject, or pursuit, aimed at offering students the chance to enhance their abilities or talents.
