"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Matthew 20:28

Serving Culture

At MSCS, serving culture is built as early as possible to train and educate students to become leaders like Jesus, a Servant Leader. As children of God, we are called to serve God and others. By serving others, students are trained to look beyond themselves and experience a transformation of the heart from self-centeredness to a heart that cares and serves others.

Learning process is implemented to build a serving culture so that students learn not to be selfish and be like Jesus who came to the world to serve. Students learn to serve with humility, practice to prioritize others, giving generously, serving others with the talents they have, and showing respect.

The purpose of this serving culture, other than as a visible form of our love for God, is to make an impact on changes that are not only experienced by those who served, but also to our students who serve. The mission trip in Class 9 is an opportunity where students serve and have a wider impact outside of school that provides a positive life-changing experience.
